Set default Work Order settings for a team

Set default Work Order settings for each team so requesters see realistic due dates by default, instead of everything being treated as urgent.

  1. From the web app, click More → Property Content & Settings

  2. Select Teams

  3. Choose the team you want to update

  4. Click Edit

  5. Set your defaults:

    • Default Work Order type

    • Default due date

  6. Click Save changes

These defaults are applied automatically whenever a new Work Order is created for the selected team. For now, they can only be set from the Web App.

Why it matters

Team defaults prevent false urgency by setting clear expectations up front. Requesters know when to expect work to be completed, and teams spend less time re-prioritizing and correcting due dates.
