Logging time spent on a Work Order

Some work orders may prompt you to log time and parts spent, so your property gets paid for what your team actually did.

Billable work orders prompt you to confirm time and parts when you tap Complete. Two habits keep that record accurate.

Start the clock when you start the job

Tap Start Work the moment you begin. Pico tracks the time, so when you tap Complete, it's already suggested — no need to estimate. If you don't do this, you can still enter the time manually.

Log what you used before you close it out

Tapping Complete on a billable work order prompts you to confirm time spent and parts used. Pico turns that into cost automatically — you just confirm it's right, or make any necessary edits.

Who logs time and cost?
