Chat with Your Team in Pico

Use Chat to communicate with your team without leaving Pico. Send direct messages, start group conversations, or post updates in dedicated channels — all in one place.

Written by Manuela Sanchez

Every team in Pico has a dedicated channel that stays in sync automatically — when someone joins or leaves a team, their access updates to match. Managers can also create standalone channels for specific topics or buildings, and anyone can send direct messages or start group conversations.

Auto-translation built in.

You write in your language; your teammates read it in theirs. English and Spanish are supported.

Know when your message landed.

In 1:1 conversations, you'll see "Read · [time]" once the other person has seen your message.

Creating channels and group chats

Anyone can create a new channel or start a group conversation. On mobile, tap + Add channel to create one or browse existing channels to join. On desktop, click the + next to Channels.

Group direct messages are capped at 7 people — for larger groups, a channel works better.

Find Chat in the navigation bar.
